Playing Cards, Cheats and Conjuring

Join Peter Colletti, professional magician and lecturer, for an engaging discussion and slide presentation on the history of playing cards and the development of sleight of hand used by gamblers to cheat at poker. The program will include demonstrations of early card tricks, methods gamblers use to cheat, and modern card tricks. Participants will also be taught basic sleight of hand and how to apply it to card tricks, as well as incredible self-working card tricks. No registration required.
