Celebrate the upcoming Preakness 151 in Laurel with “The Race is On: Historic Races and Places at Laurel Park” webinar presented by the Laurel Historical Society (LHS) on Thursday, April 30. Speakers will discuss Laurel Park's most famous races such as The Washington International and The Maryland Million, and it's historic spaces such as the Manager's House and the Paddock. They’ll also delve into the LHS’s collection, and provide a sneak peak of the May 1 temporary exhibit on Laurel Park opening at Laurel's Municipal Center (8103 Sandy Spring Rd, Laurel, MD). As part of the LHS’s Speaker Series, this webinar is free but advanced registration is required.
