More About Louisa's Garden Exhibition Opening
Brave. Complex. Cherished. Meet Louisa Wylie Boisen (1839–1930) through a garden of student and staff exhibits.
Join us for an opening event celebrating Wylie House Museum’s newest exhibition, Louisa’s Garden. Developed by this year’s Sarah L Luckay Fellow, students, and museum staff, this vibrant collection of physical and digital exhibits—rooted in historical artifacts—explores the ways the eldest daughter of an IU professor was brave, complex, and is still cherished today.
Free parking options are available for visitors.
Neighborhood Street Parking: Free street parking is available after 5 p.m., including in areas normally restricted to Neighborhood Zone permit holders.
Wylie House Museum Parking: Complimentary parking (no permit required) is available behind the Wylie House Museum and adjacent to its Education Center (the gray barn). This lot includes one accessible parking space. Access these spaces via the alley behind the museum, from Grant Street and Lincoln Street.
