More About Kiwanis 5K Run/Walk for Kids' Sake
The Fifth Annual Kiwanis 5K Run/Walk—benefiting Riley Hospital for Children and local youth programs including KBUG (Kiwanis Bring Up Grades) and Books for Kids takes place on Saturday, May 9th . A quarter mile Fun Run for children 6 and under will kick off the morning at 8:15 a.m., followed by the 5K Run/Walk at 8:30 a.m. on the Ivy Tech Community College Columbus Campus for youth and adults.
Day of registration, check in, and bib pickup will be available from 7:30–8:15 a.m. at the Ivy Tech entrance.
Participants can look forward to goodie bags, more than 20 prize drawings, and complimentary food and drinks. Once again, the event offers special youth pricing:
• $15 for elementary students ages 6–12 (includes T shirt, goodie bag, and door prize ticket)
• $7 for children 6 and under participating in the Fun Run (includes a special medallion) Parents may run alongside their children at no cost.
• Standard registration is $25 ages 13 - adult
Pre registration is available at Click for Details through April 30 but increases by $5 for each category after May 1. Hard copy registration forms are also available.
