Medical Biller & Ophthalmic Medical Assistant Needed– No Nights or Weekends! 🚨

Deen Gross Eye Centers is a progressive ophthalmic practice seeking energetic and motivated individuals to join their team. We are currently hiring for two separate positions: Medical Biller and Ophthalmic Medical Assistant. These are excellent opportunities to grow within a professional healthcare environment.

Position #1: Medical Biller

Position Overview:
Responsible for billing operations, requiring accuracy, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of insurance procedures and practice policies.

Job Duties:
• Communicate with physicians, staff, patients, and insurance companies
• Manage medical billing, coding, copays, and referral processes
• Handle billing and collection functions professionally
• Perform audits on insurance follow-ups, patient collections, and postings
• Process insurance transactions, payments, claims, and refunds

Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Medical office billing experience preferred

Position #2: Ophthalmic Medical Assistant

Position Overview:
Supports patient care under the direction of the physician and assists with day-to-day clinical operations.

Job Duties:
• Perform patient work-ups and assist with care
• Triage patient calls and handle patient needs
• Manage prescription refills and referrals
• Handle prior authorizations
• Perform scribing duties

Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• COA or COT certification preferred
• Willing to train the right candidate
