The Elk Grove Historical Society has announced its upcoming event “Parlor Games: The 29th Annual Spring Tea” to be held starting 11 a.m. Saturday, May 9.
This elegant and interactive gathering will celebrate Mother’s Day in style, offering a delightful afternoon tea luncheon with live music and fun.
Guests are invited to step back in time to experience the charm and refinement of 19th-century parlor games in a beautifully restored historical setting. Attendees will enjoy a classic game of Tea Party Bingo while also having the opportunity to dress in lovely Spring Tea attire. Adult guests are encouraged to participate in a Best Ensemble competition, with a prize for the finest outfit.
In addition to the tea luncheon, music and games, the event will feature a silent auction and a raffle ticket opportunity, providing guests with the chance to win exclusive items while supporting the Elk Grove Historical Society’s efforts to preserve the area’s rich history.
