Paul Bertsch has been writing and performing music both as a solo artist and with his band, The Paul Bertsch Band, since 1987.
Paul’s songwriting is heavily influenced by the great singer-songwriters of 60’s and 70’s. Traces of Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Jackson Browne, The Band, Bruce Cockburn, Paul Simon and the like are evident from his thoughtful lyrics and song structures. He desires to write music that helps the listener experience both the beauty and the brokenness of this life and leaves them with redemptive hope. In terms of genre, Paul blends heartland rock, folk, blues, Americana and singer-songwriter styles into their sound.
