Calaca Mamas Cantina is celebrating four years in Anaheim, and the vibrant Day-of-the-Dead eatery across from the Disneyland Resort is throwing an all-day fiesta to mark the milestone.
Whether dining al fresco on the patio with views of the Disney fireworks in the evening, or in the bar or dining room, the anniversary celebration captures everything that's made Calaca Mamas a fan favorite: bold flavors, colorful energy, and a lively atmosphere that turns a quick bite into a night out.
Toast to four years with the Chile Relleno, or dig into the Carne Asada plato with marinated skirt steak, salsa ranchera, cotija, cilantro, radishes, and chiles toreados, the Garlic Shrimp with poblano chili, tomato, lime, and cilantro, or the crispy pork shoulder Carnitas. To start, share the Tlayuda built on a grilled flour tortilla with refritos negros, Oaxacan cheese, avocado, pico de gallo, and crema; the Aguachile with wild-caught lime-cooked shrimp in tomatillo-serrano broth with habaneros and avocado; or the Tots Con Todo piled with carne asada, queso dip, guacamole, and pickled jalapeƱo.
