Award-Winning Game Experience THE CUBE to Open First U.S. Venue in Chicago

THE CUBE, a high-adrenaline game experience based on global brand and the hit TBS TV game show, will make its U.S. debut in Chicago in June 2026 at 600 N. Michigan, bringing an estimated 260 to 300 new jobs to the city, including approximately 80 to 100 construction roles and 180 to 200 permanent associate positions. Anticipation is already high on this much buzzed about new offering to the city. Created by Urban Playground Holdings in partnership with Objective Media Group, THE CUBE will present fast-paced, interactive entertainment to Chicago’s Magnificent Mile, further strengthening the city’s reputation as a premier destination for immersive, experience-driven attractions. The launch will be the third global venue for THE CUBE, and the first outside of the U.K.


Following successful openings in the UK, both in Manchester (2022) and London (2024), this wildly entertaining game will introduce its unique blend of competition, cutting-edge design, and premium hospitality to one of America’s most vibrant tourism and entertainment markets. Chicago continues to see strong demand for experiential venues that blend social interaction, technology, and hospitality, making it an ideal location for THE CUBE’s U.S. flagship.


The twenty-one 13 ft x 13 ft glass CUBEs will cover over 25,000 sq. ft. of premium entertainment space. Using custom technology, each group of four will face seven specially selected one and two player games, each designed to test their mental and physical abilities. With spectators observing every move, the pressure is on, and players will need to master their skills of balance, memory, speed and judgement, in an attempt to win points and ultimately, beat THE CUBE.
