The American Revolution Screening and Discussion

In celebration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, a screening of the new PBS documentary “The American Revolution” will be shown at the Merrillville Branch of the Lake County Public Library on June 23, 2026 from 6-8pm Central. The program will feature clips from the longer 12-part series, followed by a moderated panel discussion to explore service as a core American value - examining volunteerism, civic participation, public leadership, and more. Light refreshments will be served.
