More About History in Bloom Cemetery Tours
Step into Bloomington's past with guided historical tours of Rose Hill Cemetery, timed to coincide with the spectacular bloom of the cemetery's famed peonies. Live historical reenactors will share the stories of the notable individuals laid to rest at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Participants will walk about 45 minutes on uneven ground, and will spend time standing and listening. Wear comfortable, weather-appropriate shoes and clothing.
Pre-registration is required; no walk-up participation will be available. For ages 12 years and up. Registration opens on April 15. Register by May 8.
Day: Saturday, May 16. Rain date is Sunday, May 17.
Time: One-hour tours at 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. with an accessible tour offered in golf carts at 5 p.m.
