Aire Rooftop Officially Opens for the Summer Season May 11th

Aire, the iconic rooftop bar situated atop the Hyatt Centric Loop Chicago, 100 W Monroe Street, returns this summer with new daily specials, DJ Sunset Sessions, Concerts Under the Stars, and more. Opening Monday, May 11th, Aire will kick off Summer 2026 with new additions to the menu including a collaboration with Dovetail Brewery. Guests can look forward to weekly specials for after-work relaxation, a lineup of live music experiences, and a continued commitment to offering one of the city’s premier open-air experiences.

On select Friday nights, Aire will welcome visitors to enjoy Sunset Sessions, featuring a live DJ spinning house music during golden hour. Back by popular demand, the rooftop will host the Concert Under the Stars series with performances every Sunday evening. This beloved series showcases top-tier tribute performances, celebrating legends like Sinatra, ABBA, Beyoncé, Amy Winehouse, and more. This year Aire introduces The Sunset Club presented by Neon Paddle; this brand-new club is the perfect way to celebrate the summer. On the first Saturday of every month guests can experience a sense of being transported to a tropical paradise with a live DJ and signature drinks at sunset. DJ's include Aced Spade, DJ Miriam, Adonia, Freddy Phatz, Kid Clay, and MDok. Tickets start at $10.

Daily specials run from 3pm to 5pm.

The menu this season features new options including Korean BBQ Tacos and a newly crafted drink from Dovetail Brewery. Unwind in the warm summer air with this new collaboration, the Summer Hopfenlager, a refreshing new drink that was specially brewed for the Aire rooftop. Dovetail Brewery was founded by Master brewers Hagen Dost and Bill Wesselink in Chicago in May of 2016. Focusing on continental European styles and traditional methods, each Dovetail beer is handcrafted to play on all the senses. Aire also offers a variety of RTDs, local drafts, and curated wine selections to complement the dining experience.

Guests visiting Aire at the Hyatt Centric Loop Chicago will also see up close, their stunning mural “Grounded,” designed and created by Onur (Click for Details Covering the entire West, South, and East facing sides of Aire, the iconic Chicago-inspired mural features inspiring modern techniques, such as the use of UV-light-sensitive paints, which transform the mural from daytime to evening. The painting depicts a woman looking at the landscape, her eyes cast on a lighthouse on the horizon. By day it is a window on an idyllic and relaxing scenery, by night it lights up in blue, revealing its mysterious side. The artwork covers an area of 350 square meters, which is the entire outer wall of the 24th floor of the Hyatt Centric Loop.

With its central location, dramatic 360-degree view and contemporary décor, Aire’s unmatched urban atmosphere is at the peak of summer downtown destinations. Guests escaping their busy offices for an open-air hiatus or city visitors wanting to relax after a long day of exploring can unwind in luxury with friends over artisan drinks and mouthwatering bites. Aire is open 3 p.m. – 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 3 p.m. – 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, with happy hour available from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. on weekdays.
