More About Community Stitching Day

Join us on Saturday, May 9th, for a day celebrating America’s rich history of needle arts alongside the Nutmeg Stitchers chapter of the Embroiderers’ Guild of America! Stitchers will be spread across our campus, demonstrating their process and techniques alongside completed works. In our historic barn, shop for supplies to start your next needlepoint or cross-stitch project from The Village Ewe and Needlework with Jim, or work on your current WIP alongside other stitchers. We welcome stitchers of all levels and all ages to stop by our classroom and make their own simple “make & take” embroidery project. Finally, be sure to visit our Library & Archives to see examples of historic needle arts from the Historical Society’s collection.
