During Tuesday's Council meeting, Town Manager Mike McLaurin presented the recommended budget for Fiscal Year 2025-2026. Additionally, the Town Council voted to reduce the tax rate to 17 cents per $100 of valuation, effective July 1, to help offset the impacts of the recent property revaluation.

The Town will hold a public hearing on the recommended budget during the regular Council meeting on Tuesday, May 27, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
