WILLIAM SOMMER: Visionary Modernist A Retrospective

William Sommer, one of America’s great modernists, will be the subject of WOLFS Gallery's long-overdue retrospective this spring. Sommer, a master lithographer, was highly respected in Cleveland at the turn of the last century. Inspired by European avant-garde, he created vibrant modern compositions often reflecting his rural surroundings. The exhibition features a prolific career with striking palettes and innovative works.
