More About Recycled Cycles' Used Bicycle Sale & Donation Event
Recycled Cycles is hosting a used bike sale and donation day on Saturday, May 16th, from 10 am to noon at their repair shop just north of Big Hoffa’s in Westfield. Top-condition bikes will be available at discounted prices, and they will be accepting used bikes of any condition to repair and give away to deserving families. Last year, Recycled Cycles repaired and gave nearly 400 bicycles to deserving families who might not otherwise have afforded new bikes, mostly for Christmas.
💲Payment by check is preferred (sorry no Venmo, Paypal, credit card, etc. available). Proceeds will be used to purchase parts to repair other bikes.
ABOUT THE RECYLCED CYCLES TEAM
Recycled Cycles is an all-volunteer group that repairs child and adult bikes throughout the year under the sponsorship of Good Samaritan Network of Hamilton County. Donations of any used bike, no matter the condition will be accepted. Parts from unrepairable bikes are salvaged to make whole bikes. All bikes will be inspected, repaired, lubricated and adjusted for safe use. Donation receipts will be issued for any bike purchased or dropped off.
