More About DeRidder Fire Department 2026 Fire Safety Summer Camp
The DeRidder Fire Department is excited to announce registration for the 2026 Fire Safety Summer Camp! This fun and educational camp gives children the opportunity to learn about fire safety, emergency response, and teamwork through hands-on activities and interactive demonstrations led by local first responders.
Camp participants will enjoy team-building exercises, fire truck and ambulance demonstrations, medical helicopter tours, a visit to the 911 Dispatch Center, a BPSO K-9 lesson, “The Maze,” and a Louisiana Forestry presentation.
Two camp sessions are available based on age group:
🚒 Ages 6–8: July 7–8, 2026
🚒 Ages 9–11: July 14–15, 2026
Parents are reminded to register children for the correct age group. Participants must fall within the selected age range by July 1, 2026.
This exciting summer camp is a great opportunity for children to learn valuable safety skills while having fun and meeting local emergency responders.
