More About Jay & The Americans
Jay & The Americans bring their timeless sound to Paramount Hudson Valley on September 27, celebrating one of the most enduring legacies in rock ’n’ roll history. Originally formed in 1961, the group became one of the lasting success stories of the era, earning five Billboard Top 10 hits and twelve Top 20 records with their unforgettable harmonies and classic pop-rock style.
Audiences can expect a hit-filled evening featuring favorites like “She Cried,” “Come a Little Bit Closer,” “Cara Mia,” “This Magic Moment,” “Walkin’ in the Rain,” “Sunday and Me,” and more. More than just a concert, the show offers a backstage pass into the stories behind the songs, the artists who influenced them, and their connections to legendary names like Roy Orbison, Neil Diamond, Steely Dan, and Joan Jett.
With original member Sandy Yaguda, longtime member Marty Kupersmith, and the addition of acclaimed vocalist Jay Reincke, Jay & The Americans faithfully recreate the authentic sound that made them a beloved part of American music history. Filled with classic hits, great storytelling, and plenty of humor, this is a party no fan of ’60s and ’70s rock ’n’ roll will want to miss.
*As a reminder, no outside food or drink permitted in the venue. Any patron found with outside alcohol, is subject to removal. Backpacks and large bags are not permitted inside of the venue. All guests are subject to bag checks and security wanding upon entry.
