More About Bally’s Chicago Launches Hiring Push for Future Riverfront Resort, Expected to Create 3,000 Jobs
Bally’s Chicago is expanding its hiring efforts as it builds toward its permanent riverfront resort, which is expected to create approximately 3,000 permanent jobs in Chicago. Following a major construction milestone at the site, the company is now focused on growing its team and identifying leaders who will help shape one of the city’s most significant new developments.
As part of this next phase, Bally’s Chicago is actively recruiting for several key leadership roles that will play a critical role in driving performance, building guest relationships, and preparing for the official opening in spring 2027. These positions are designed to establish a strong operational foundation and bring in experienced talent capable of building lasting connections with both local and global audiences. Current opportunities include:
Vice President of Sales
Vice President of Relationship Marketing
Director of Relationship Marketing (with a focus on domestic and international markets)
Director of Facilities
Director of Slots
The hiring push follows the recent topping-out ceremony at Bally’s future casino site at the former Chicago Tribune Freedom Center location, where the final structural beam was placed on the $1.7 billion development. The project will serve as a major economic driver for the city and reflects Bally’s long-term investment in Chicago, its workforce, and its communities.
Supporting this next phase of growth is the recent appointment of Ryan Coppola as Vice President and General Manager. Coppola brings more than two decades of experience in gaming and hospitality and will play a central role in building out the leadership team, guiding operations, and shaping the culture that will define Bally’s Chicago. Coppola most recently served as Vice President and General Manager within Bally’s Corporation, where he oversaw multiple properties and led performance across core business areas.
To help shape something that will leave a lasting imprint on Chicago is both a profound honor and a privilege," said Ryan Coppola, Vice President and General Manager of Bally's Chicago. "We have a remarkable opportunity here—to bring together extraordinary talent, build careers of real meaning, and create an experience worthy of Chicago's energy, diversity, and world-class character. What we're building today will define the future of gaming in this city for generations."
Bally’s Chicago is also continuing to invest in workforce development through its dealer training school, created in partnership with City Colleges of Chicago. The program offers local residents the opportunity to receive free, hands-on training in table games such as blackjack, roulette, craps, and baccarat. Participants who successfully complete the program and pass a skills audition are eligible for employment opportunities, supporting Bally’s broader goal of creating accessible, long-term career paths for Chicagoans as the permanent resort moves toward opening.
With hiring now underway, Bally’s Chicago is positioning itself to build not only a destination, but a team that reflects the city it will serve. Learn more at Click for Details For those interested in job opportunities, learn more here.
