More About Let’s Go For A Walk: Being a Thru-Hiker on the Appalachian Trail | FPL McAuliffe

One woman traded her routines for a backpack and a winding footpath stretching across 14
states. On the Appalachian Trail, she learned that the hardest steps often lead to the most
unexpected transformations. Join Susan “Season One” Leo-Johnson as she shares her journey
on trail and learn what it takes, and doesn’t, to thru-hike the world’s oldest, continuous
Footpath. This engaging visual and tactile presentation offers audiences a glimpse into what it’s like to be a
thru-hiker on the Appalachian Trail. Through a blend of photographs, historical insight, and
personal experiences, this informative program is designed to both enlighten and inspire.
