More About Chinese Knot-Making Workshop
Learn four foundational Chinese knots in this hands-on, artist-led, three-hour workshop. Admission to exhibit After Nature included. Led by artist Muzi Li Rowe, the workshop explores traditional Chinese knotting as an ancient folk art transformed through contemporary materials and contexts. Participants will learn through live demonstrations and guided practice, with tools and cords provided. Participants are encouraged to bring additional materials from home to experiment with. Each attendee can take home their knots and receive a reading list for continued practice. The event is part of the 'After Nature' exhibition at Axis Gallery, Sacramento.
