More About History Seek Saturdays: American Waltz Family Workshop

Learn about the history of the American Waltz and learn basic steps for the dance.

Step into the world of 19th-century America at American Waltz Family Workshop at beautiful Mimosa Hall. Learn the elegant steps of the waltz, a dance that caused a stir in early America, and discover its social and cultural history. Local dance instructors will guide you through the basics and teach you how this once-scandalous dance became a beloved American tradition. A perfect way to immerse yourself in America’s rich cultural history while having fun with the family! This workshop is about 1 hour. Sessions begin at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Adults and children 12 and over.

Parking is available on Bulloch Avenue and behind Mimosa Hall.
