This tour takes you through Sloan Street, Founders’ Cemetery, and Old Mill Park to learn about the lives of millworkers in the 19th century. Understand their struggles with working conditions, pay, and housing, and hear the gripping tale of the 1864 arrests of nearly 400 women, children, and elderly residents. This walk provides a deep connection to the roots of Roswell’s history and highlights the perseverance of its early residents—true testaments to the strength of the American spirit.
