More About Pawpaw Festival WV 2026
The Pawpaw Festival in Paw Paw, West Virginia began in 2023 and has quickly grown into a regional, family‑friendly celebration of Appalachia’s native pawpaw fruit. The festival is free to attend and offers a full day of activities including pawpaw tasting opportunities, trees for purchase, educational displays, local artisans, food vendors, kids’ activities, and live music. Visitors can explore the town, learn about the fruit’s history in the region, and enjoy a welcoming small‑town atmosphere centered around community, heritage, and the unique flavors of the pawpaw.
