The Bartholomew County Historical Society invites you to attend the second Evelyn Seward Speaker Series event of 2026 on June 18th when County Historian Dr. Tami Stone Iorio presents Bartholomew County on the Map: 1776-2026. As the United States celebrates its 250th birthday, Dr. Iorio will take us on a journey through Bartholomew County's history guided by eleven maps from 1776 to the present. Learn how the landscape around us changed and the big and small things that shaped it - railroads, mail routes, military bases, ghost towns, and much more.
