
More About Sandblast 2026 at Greenwich Point
Greenwich Point Park hosts Sandblast 2026 on Saturday, June 20, a free family sand sculpture competition celebrating America's 250th anniversary. Participants of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to create sand sculptures inspired by the theme "what America means to you." The event runs from 9 a.m. to noon, with judging at 11:00 a.m. and awards announced at 12 p.m. The rain date is June 21. Sponsored by the Greenwich Arts Council and Greenwich Department of Parks and Recreation, it offers a fun, creative experience for families and solo sculptors alike.
