Honoring the American Story through the power of music, this concert celebrates 250 years of American history with a program that reflects the nation's ideals, struggles, and aspirations. Featuring works by John Williams, Aaron Copland, George Gershwin, Samuel Barber, and pianist Zhu Wang, the performance is a tribute to the power of music to unite and inspire.

The mission of the Acadiana Symphony & Conservatory of Music is to provide excellence in orchestral performances of diverse repertoire and educational experiences for the inspiration and enrichment of the community.

Acadiana Symphony Orchestra is one of only two in the United States that is associated with a Conservatory of Music. This unique partnership sets ASO apart from other symphony organizations in the country. The mission of the ASO, and its Conservatory is unified in order to achieve a cohesive approach in the development of high quality performances and educational programs.
