More About Diabetes 101: Understanding the Basics

This course is designed for individuals who are newly diagnosed with diabetes or anyone interested in learning the basics of diabetes management. You will gain a better understanding of what diabetes is, the differences between type 1 and type 2 diabetes, and how nutrition, physical activity, medications, and blood sugar monitoring play a role in overall health. We will also cover common symptoms, potential complications, and practical everyday tips to help support healthy lifestyle habits. Attendees will leave with foundational knowledge, helpful resources, and greater confidence in managing or preventing diabetes.
