More About Beginner Friendly: Introducing the Sewing Machine

Demystify the sewing machine with our two hour introductory sewing class. Using a sewing machine is the first level on your journey to making clothes, quilts, and projects. Whether you have your own machine or you are totally new to the sewing process, there are basic functions that are essential to all kinds of sewing.

Learn how to thread your sewing and wind a bobbin, the parts of a sewing machine and how they function together. Additionally, in this class we will learn both best practices for operating a sewing machine as well as how to form simple seams which translate into a mini sewing sample book which you will take home from the class. You won't need to bring anything as a sewing machine and materials are provided.
