More About Birding at the Bartlett
Join expert birder, David Warne, for a morning walk around the Bartlett grounds to look for rare bird sightings and other signs of bird activity. June is peak breeding season in Connecticut, with forests, meadows, and wetlands alive with birdsong. Participants can expect to see colorful species such as Indigo Buntings, Baltimore Orioles, Eastern Bluebirds, and various warblers. It's an excellent opportunity to observe breeding behaviors and enjoy active birdlife. Please wear sturdy footwear and weather-appropriate clothing; binoculars are welcome.
