Summer Music Series featuring Professors of Sweet Sweet Music

The POSSM are the three-time Best of Hartford winners and co-creators of the Hartbeat Music Festival. Their sound is an energetic yet soulful version of indie rock with the Hartford Courant stating, “The band’s brand of pop-infused rock can be downright infectious”. The band has been nominated by The New England Music Awards as Best Musical ACT in CT, had a local best selling IPA named after them, and had their original song Tidal Wave named the CTNOW.com song of the year, and BarRated Radio’s “local song of the decade”. Fans of 90’s pop infused indie rock with bands such as Weezer, The Cranberries, RadioHead and Dinosaur Jr, will definitely enjoy a POSSM show!

Join us for our annual FREE Summer Concert Series! Stop by every Friday at lunchtime to hear a different band play each week on the westside patio of Connecticut’s Old State House. Bring your lunch and enjoy the music!

Concerts begin at noon and will also be live-streamed on our Facebook page and YouTube channel.
