Downtown Opening Day Block Party
Monday, July 6
6—8:30 pm
To welcome the USSSA Great Lakes National Championship to Columbus, Monday, July 6, will be a day full of activities, fun, and community—including the Downtown Block Party, which is free and open to the public!
In the heart of Downtown Columbus on the Bartholomew County Public Library Plaza, join the Columbus community and USSSA National Championship players for an evening of good music and good company.
Enjoy opening remarks from USSSA State Director Tim Foster;
Bring your own lawn chair to watch regional favorite band Retro Betty perform;
Grab dinner or a sweet treat from local food truck vendors including Miss Rachel’s Neat Treats, Lemonade Bros, Snobiz, Hotbox Pizza, Dirty Dough, and Antojitos Rosita;
Visit local vendors, including a local henna artist and Heartland Sparkle Fairy Hair;
And bounce on more bouncy houses!
All activities and vendors will be available from 6—8:30 pm, with opening remarks beginning at 6 pm. Free parking will be available along downtown streets and in the library parking lot.
