Dine Out for the Library at Cardinal Spirits for dinner on Thursday, July 23 from 4-10 pm or lunch on Saturday, July 25 from 12-4 pm. The Cardinal Spirits patio is calling your name! Enjoy summer cocktails, delicious food, and spirit flights on Bloomington's best perch — the patio is open to all ages, and dogs, too. Be sure to present your flyer and Cardinal Spirits will donate 20% of your tab to make great Library resources possible. Flyers are available at mcpl.info/dineout or at any branch of the Monroe County Public Library.

Friends of the Library are members of the community just like you––individuals who value the public library and its role in our community. The Friends advocates for the Library and supports collections, services, programs, and staff development.
We operate a used bookstore on the first floor of the Library with a wide selection of books, movies, music, art, and more at bargain prices. Proceeds from the Bookstore are used to pay for all programming the Library offers, as well as helping to support the purchase of books to meet patron requests, staff development, and much more.
By becoming a Friend, you make programs and services possible that create the outstanding public library our community expects and relies on. You give people the opportunity to read, learn, connect, and create. You make a difference with your commitment to become an official Friend of the Library today!
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. All memberships and donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
