More About History at Home: Ghosts in the Ground: Metal Detecting Montclair’s Past
A Victorian brooch with tiny turquoise stones. A brass button with a mysterious railroad insignia. An 1840 copper token from a faraway land.
Join us as long-time Montclair resident Suzanne Moyers discusses these and other artifacts unearthed in Montclair, along with the surprising stories they tell about our town’s hidden history.
Suzanne Moyers, a former teacher and education writer, is completing her second historical novel, a tale of science and passion set on Victorian-era Long Island. When she’s not metal-detecting, Suzanne enjoys volunteering for archeological digs, singing in a rock choir, and traveling.
