Through historical insight and compelling story telling, Dr. Allison will examine how revolutionary the conflict truly was, and how its impact continues to shape America today.
The talk will be at Soka University, specifically in the Pauling building, room 216.

Robert J. Allison is a Professor of History at Suffolk University and has taught at the Harvard Extension School since 1993. A leading scholar of the American Revolution, he is the author of numerous books, including A Very Short Introduction to the American Revolution, and serves as co-chair of Revolution 250, President of the Colonial Society of Massachusetts, and is a life trustee of the USS Constitution Museum.
