"A Walk in Their Boots" Military Timeline - Living History Event
September 11-13, 2026 at Camp Davy Crockett in Whitesburg, Tennessee.
Reenactors and living historians dedicated to preserving and honoring the memory of our American servicemen and women throughout our nation's history!
This FREE military timeline event allows the public a chance to experience a "Day in the Life" of our American soldiers with exhibits ranging from Revolutionary War to Modern Day. You can walk thru the encampments, see the uniforms, the equipment, gear and weaponry used by our soldiers in the field, and experience it "up close and personal"! We will have several tanks joining us this year along with halftracks and armored personnel carriers, trucks, jeeps, motorcycles etc., all of which, you get to see "in action"! There will be battle recreations (*reenactments) of WWII, Vietnam War and this year, the Spanish American War eras. There will be weapons firing demonstrations and of course extensive military displays from the various time periods along with displays of our opposing forces, in hopes of better understanding the conflicts that shaped our modern world.
