More About Community Children’s Clothing Exchange

Community Children’s Clothing Exchange at St. Mark’s UMC
Hosted by United Women in Faith

Our free Community Children’s Clothing Exchange is coming up on Saturday, July 25 from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM, and we are now beginning to collect donations and recruit volunteers.

As families prepare for a new school year, this event offers an opportunity to share gently used children’s clothing, support one another, and extend the life of items that children so quickly outgrow. The exchange is open to all in the community and reflects a shared commitment to generosity, stewardship, and sustainability.

We will be accepting gently used children’s clothing only (infant through teen sizes) during the following drop-off times:
Sunday, July 19 — before or after our 10:30am worship
Tuesday, July 21 — 5:00–7:00 PM
Thursday, July 23 — 5:00–7:00 PM

Please note that we are only able to accept clothing at designated drop-off times due to limited storage space. At this time, we are not accepting toys, books, or other household items.

Volunteers are also needed throughout the week to help receive and sort donations, assist with setup on Friday, and help create a welcoming and organized environment during Saturday’s event. Sorting and setup will take place on Friday, July 24.

Whether you are donating, volunteering, participating, or simply helping spread the word, thank you for helping us care for our community and our shared resources.
