99th LNGA Amateur Championship

The 99th Ladies National Golf Association (LNGA) Amateur Championship returns July 21–23, 2026, at Harrison Lake Country Club in Columbus, Indiana.

Founded in 1927, the LNGA Amateur Championship is one of the nation's longest-running and most prestigious women's amateur golf championships and serves as the final event of the Women's Elite Amateur Golf Series (WEAGS).

The championship features a 54-hole stroke play format on Harrison Lake Country Club's par-71 course, playing approximately 6,300 yards. A field of up to 144 players will compete over the first two rounds before the field is cut to the low 60 players and ties for the final round.

The championship attracts elite amateur golfers from around the world, including collegiate standouts, internationally ranked players, and future professionals. The 2026 field includes competitors from eight countries and six Indiana golfers.

Eligibility
The championship is open to female amateur golfers with a World Handicap System Handicap Index® of 5.5 or lower who meet the USGA Rules of Amateur Status and USGA Gender Policy. Registration for the 2026 championship has closed.

Players compete for the historic George III Champion Trophy, Junior Medalist honors, and the Howell Team Trophy, while also earning valuable points toward the Women's Elite Amateur Cup.
