Legendary comedian Killer Beaz is bringing a high-octane celebration of television history to the historic Sunset Theatre on Saturday, August 22, 2026. The Moonshiner Mash In tour stops in Asheboro as a special tribute celebrating 15 years of Discovery Channel's hit series Moonshiners.
Joining Killer Beaz on stage are Appalachian legends and fan favorites from the show, including Josh Owens, Steve Tickle, and Jerry Benson. This immersive experience offers fans a rare opportunity to hear behind-the-scenes stories, witness the camaraderie of the cast, and celebrate the culture that has made Moonshiners a global phenomenon.
The evening will also feature special guest Dan Whitehurst. Known as the "World's Funniest Cop," Whitehurst brings his unique perspective and law enforcement-inspired humor to the stage, perfectly complementing the high-energy atmosphere of the Mash In.
