More About Flintstone to Pilot Full-Day Pre-K for 3-Year-Olds
Allegany County Public Schools plans to launch a full-day Pre-K program for 3-year-olds at Flintstone Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year, part of the state's Blueprint for Maryland's Future initiative.
The pilot program is designed to expand early learning and childcare options for families in the area, school officials said Wednesday. Families interested in enrolling can call Flintstone Elementary at 301-478-2434 to schedule a registration appointment.
Enrollment follows the same process as the district's existing Pre-K 4 program, with forms available online at acpsmd.org or by using a direct link, bit.ly/4gvJ8z5.
All registration appointments must be completed by July 30. Families needing bus transportation must also submit paperwork by that date.
School officials noted the program will only move forward if enough families register, and encouraged interested parents not to delay.
