Join the Merrillville Police Department for National Night Out 2026, a free community event dedicated to strengthening the partnership between law enforcement and the residents we proudly serve.

Bring the entire family for an evening filled with fun, food, and community spirit. Enjoy complimentary refreshments, family-friendly activities, inflatables, and opportunities to meet the officers, firefighters, EMS personnel, and community organizations that help keep Merrillville safe every day.
Guests will have the chance to:
Explore police, fire, and emergency vehicles.
Watch exciting public safety demonstrations, including a K-9 demonstration.
Meet first responders and ask questions in a relaxed, family-friendly setting.
Connect with local community partners and organizations.
Enjoy free activities and giveaways throughout the evening.
End the night with a spectacular fireworks show.
National Night Out is a nationwide campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.
