More About A Play, A Pint, and a Pie

Prepare for an unforgettable evening of theater, food, and fun! HCA is delighted to present Enter Stage Left Theater's 6th Annual A Play, A Pint & A Pie festival. This year we had 70 play submissions from 20 states and New Zealand. Our reading committee spend much of the winter reading and debating which acts to select for this years event.

We're putting a special HCA spin on the classic Scottish tradition—your ticket grants you access to a lineup of engaging one-act plays, a savory meat pie or vegetarian option, and your choice of an alcoholic or soft drink. It’s the perfect way to enjoy a summer night with friends and family! (Recommended for ages 13 and up.)
This is one of the season’s hottest events, and tickets will sell fast—secure yours now for a night of incredible entertainment. This is an outdoor event. In the event of an extreme rain event, we will reschedule for Sunday August 23rd. Performances begin approximately 6:30 p.m.—arrive early to set up your chair/blanket, and collect your pint and pie.

More About Hopkinton Center for the Arts

The Hopkinton Center for the Arts offers arts to all people.

Our classes, productions, and exhibitions serve an inclusive community of students, performers, and exhibiting artists diverse in age, ability, experience, ethnicity, and geography.

Among our innovative current programs:

* Visual arts instruction for developmentally disabled adults

* Music instruction for infants and toddlers

* Linkage with public school students and teachers, who use HCA as an educational resource in the arts and in leadership training

In the visual arts, theater, music, and dance, HCA annually offers over 200 classes to more than 1,000 students, from preschool to seniors, drawn from the diverse population of over 40 neighboring cities and towns. In 2015 we opened our new art center, with newly renovated classrooms, a new 200-seat performance space, and a new exhibition space. The Delbridge Family Performance Space and the Lotvin Family Gallery annually present dozens of productions and exhibitions by students and adults, amateurs and professionals. Created in 2011, HCA, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community arts center, fosters and celebrates the creative spirit in everyone.
