This is a VIP summer invitation for serious cookie lovers who want a truly excellent cookie swap. We are testing recipes, refining the rules, and working out the systems for much larger events in December, possibly the greatest cookie swaps ever assembled.

This is your invitation to The Greatest Cookie Swap, a festive cookie exchange with structure, sparkle, excellent cookies, and absolutely no holiday awkwardness. Grainbakers handles the setup, cookie check-in, counting, sorting, flow, and cleanup. You bring your best homemade cookies, enjoy a drink, spend a few festive hours with friends, and leave with a beautiful box filled with cookies that feel fair, special, and worth the effort.

Bake 36 Cookies.
Bring 36 homemade cookies made from one recipe. Cookie guidelines will be sent before the event so everyone knows what qualifies.

Check in your 36 cookies with our Great Cookie Swap Santa’s Helpers. They will confirm your cookie count, ensure every entry is homemade and swap-ready.

Receive your included drink token and your official entrance ticket to the swap zone.

What? Why buy a ticket to a cookie swap? 🤣
Because this is not a free-for-all around a folding table. Grainbakers handles the setup, flow, counting, sorting, cookie checking, and cleanup so you can relax and enjoy the event. (We're also adding in so many specialty cookies so everyone is guaranteed to be impressed!) Our Great Cookie Swap Santa’s Helpers will make sure every cookie entering the swap is truly homemade. No Chips Ahoy. No sad grocery store clamshells. No holiday crimes.
Our cookie counters will count the cookies coming in and going out so everyone receives a fair share. You will never have to say, “Gee, Karen, you seem to have 61 cookies over there.”
The bar will be open during the event. Your ticket includes a drink token. Additional drinks will be available for purchase.
Every guest will leave with a Great Cookie Swap signature box. It is beautiful enough to bring home or give as a gift. You're gonna Instagram!

Q: I have a ticket. Can I bring a guest to hang out and wait for me? A: YES! Plenty of hangout areas and access to drinks will be available for non-participants to wait for you, and then you can dive into your box when you step out of The Swap Zone.
We are researching the best and kindest practices for creating the most fun and organized cookie exchange possible. Our goal is nothing less than the Greatest Cookie Swap of Danville ever assembled. The official 'The Greatest Cookie Swap Danville' will be on Monday, 12/21. Go ahead and lock down some tickets. It will be the best Holiday event on Monday of Christmas week in Danville!
We are looking for six volunteers to participate (Must bake 36 cookies) in exchange for a complimentary $50 ticket. Each volunteer ticket includes one drink token. Official Great Cookie Swap shirts will not be included with this preview event. Volunteers from this event will have first dibs on free tickets to THE GREATEST COOKIE Swaps ever on 12/20 and 12/21.
If you make cookies for sale, you are welcome to advertise by leaving a small 4" x 6" sign with your cookies.
Prizes, awards and glory?
1st-, 2nd-, and 3rd-place awards with ribbons will be presented, along with a few specialty categories. Imagine that glory and bragging rights! Our three GCS judges have the HIGHEST standards! It will be competitive!
Do you work for a Danville-area business?
We're looking for prizes, charity partners and collaborators. While we can't guarantee we can work with all, we'd love to promote your business. Maybe your Real Estate company sponsors a gift card for David M. Brian? Ideas like that. Hit us up!
