More About 2-Day Homebuyer Webinar
Central Jersey Housing Resource Center (CJHRC) is a HUD certified housing counseling agency offering a FREE 5.5 hour Homebuyer Education Webinar, held over two consecutive days: September 15 and September 17, 2026, from 5:30 PM to 8:15 PM. Attendees must participate on both days to receive a Homebuyer Education Certificate.
The webinar provides an overview of the homebuying process, with presentations led by experienced housing and lending professionals. Participants will learn the essential steps to purchasing a home, including budgeting, credit, mortgage financing, down payment assistance programs, the State of NJ Very Low/Low/Moderate Income Program and more. Upon successful completion of all program requirements, participants will receive a HUD-approved Homebuyer Education Certificate, which is valid for 12 months from the date of issuance. This certificate is often required to qualify for down payment and closing cost assistance programs —as well as mortgage lenders—require certified education from a HUD-approved agency. Obtaining it can also help buyers qualify for lower interest rates and better loan terms.
