National Night Out in Westfield

The City of Westfield Police Department will join more than 17,000 communities across the country in observing National Night Out on Tuesday, August 4, at its new location, Grand Junction Plaza. Previously known as Jake Laird Day, it continues Westfield's tradition of bringing residents and first responders together in a fun, welcoming environment. The free event is open to the public and will feature complimentary food, inflatables, face painting, temporary tattoos, music, and interactive activities for the whole family. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet Westfield police officers, learn more about the department's community policing initiatives and connect with other public safety partners.

National Night Out is an annual nationwide campaign that strengthens relationships between law enforcement and the communities they serve through family-friendly activities, public safety education and neighborhood engagement.
