Ever wondered how an idea becomes an Indiana law? Join us for an easy-to-understand overview of the legislative process, from the introduction of a bill through committee hearings, floor votes, the governor's role, and beyond as we gear up for the 2027 Indiana General Assembly session. Learn how Hoosiers can follow legislation, share their perspectives with lawmakers, and better understand how state government works. We'll also be recapping the library's advocacy efforts this year and giving an update funding.
