More About Lake County Fair
The Lake County Fair is presented on the beautiful Lake County Fairgrounds and is one of the largest county fairs in Indiana. We run 10 consecutive days starting the first Friday of August each year. We have over 30 carnival rides, daily horse shows, daily free shows such as the KidsBuck Game Shows, Silly Safaris Shows, and the Petting Zoo. Enter in one of our Free Contests! Exhibit buildings are full of agriculture, arts and crafts, flowers, 4-H projects, commercial vendors, demonstrations and conservation. Our barns are full of animals to see. Our grandstand features motor sports events: such as, truck and tractor pull, Monster Trucks, mud drags, and demolition derbies. We have a huge variety of food vendors to satisfy any taste or for you to try something new! Come out and see the largest squash/pumpkin grown or see baby chicks hatched - we have something for everyone!
