More About Leesville National Night Out
🎉🚓 NATIONAL NIGHT OUT IS ALMOST HERE! 🚒🚑
The Leesville Police Department, Vernon Parish Sheriff's Department, and Leesville Fire Department invite everyone to join us for National Night Out on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at the Leesville Recreation Complex for an evening dedicated to strengthening the partnership between our community and our local first responders.
Bring the whole family and enjoy an evening packed with fun, food, and interactive activities!
⚾ Activities Include:
• Home Run Derby (bring your own bat if you'd like to participate!)
• "Clocked by a Cop" in the batting cages to test your pitching speed
• Buddy Ball Game featuring the Vernon Parish Special Olympics
• Helicopter displays from Acadian Ambulance, Med Express, and more
• Lifted side-by-side displays by Mad Bullies ATV Repair
• Motorcycles from the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association
• Soap Box Derby cars presented by the City of Leesville
• Local businesses and community organizations with giveaways, games, and family activities
🌭 Enjoy FREE hot dogs provided by Sam Craft and the Vernon Parish Sheriff's Department, along with delicious jambalaya served by Acadian Ambulance and many more treats throughout the evening!
This is a wonderful opportunity to meet your local first responders, connect with neighbors, support local businesses, and celebrate the spirit of our community. We can't wait to see everyone come together for a fun-filled evening under the lights!
