More About 5Rhythms Sweat Your Prayers with Sylvie Minot

On Saturday, August 29, we'll gather in the wake of the August 27 Full Moon, while its presence is still fresh in the night sky and our awareness.

Whether you experience full moons as a symbolic invitation or simply as a beautiful monthly celestial event, they offer a timely opportunity to notice what is emerging, what is fading, and what is ready to be released.

In this Sweat Your Prayers practice, we'll step onto the dance floor as our ritual space. Through the 5Rhythms wave, we'll move with the cycles that shape both nature and our own lives; finding ground, embracing change, emptying what no longer serves, and creating space for what wants to grow.

5Rhythms Sweat Your Prayers™
Sweat Your Prayers™ is not just a dance practice; it's a sacred journey into the depths of our being, guided by the wisdom of movement and the power of intention. Created by 5Rhythms founder Gabrielle Roth, this movement practice invites us to explore the divine within ourselves and the world around us.

In Sweat Your Prayers™, we merge our bodies with the music, surrendering to the rhythm of our breath and the beat of our hearts. Through this embodied prayer, we awaken our cardiovascular system and open our spiritual hearts. Each movement becomes a celebration of life, each breath a reminder of our vitality and our connection to the eternal dance of existence.

This practice is open to everyone, regardless of age, gender, or experience level. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or stepping onto the dance floor for the first time, you'll find a welcoming and inclusive space to explore and express yourself authentically. There are no steps to follow, no right or wrong way to move; let your body lead the way and trust in the wisdom of your own heart's rhythm.

Guided by Sylvie Minot's gentle presence, we'll dance in silence, allowing the music to speak to our souls and guide us on our liberating journey of honoring all that moves through us—the living and the remembered, the joy and the sorrow, the sacred wholeness of being human.
