Why does this event matter? Every year, teachers spend an average of $895 of their own money setting up their classrooms with books, supplies, flexible seating, learning materials, and other essentials their students need to succeed. Through the Greenwood Education Foundation's New Teacher Grant Program, we help ease those start-up costs so our newest educators can focus on what matters most—their students.
Every dollar raised during Pouring Into the Future goes directly toward funding New Teacher Grants for educators in their first three years of teaching.
